It’s still a seller’s market in Maine.  The median home price in our area was up 7.8% in December over the same time last year, and many homes are still closing above asking.

As we head into 2024, mortgage rates are expected to decline, which may shake things up a bit, but will it be enough to encourage more sellers to list and more buyers to enter the market?
